Pittsburg Community Theatre Founder – Betty Brown passed away this past January 2018 but her legacy lives on.
The Betty Brown Scholarship for the Performing Arts fund has been established to continue to provide a scholarship to a graduating senior in her honor, but also to help youth in our community attend the summer and fall workshops that were established in 2021. What better way to Celebrate Betty’s life than to share her love of theatre with the youth in our community.
