PTC Board Members
Gwendolyn Sampson Brown – Executive Manager
Gwen and her soul mate Robert Brown are proud residents of Rio Vista, CA. Gwen is the proud mother of twins and grandmother to four beautiful children. She has been in the medical field for over 40 years and has an extensive background in Leadership, Nephrology, and Mental Health Nursing. Gwen aspired to be an actress in high school and college, and then “Life” happened; her father convinced her to pursue nursing as a career instead. Still, her love for the performing arts never wavered. She is no stranger to the stage; to date, her favorite performances include her role as “Libby” in Bee-Luther-Hatchee, “Lena Younger” in A Raisin In the Sun, and “Rose” in Fences. In addition, Gwen co-owned a Community Theater Production Company for five years before the pandemic started to rage. Despite the pandemic, Gwen continues to enjoy volunteering, performing and attending community theater productions while pursuing a Doctorate in Nursing. Just in case you didn’t notice, there is no “grass” growing under Gwen’s feet!
